The Origin of Hoza

Hoza was founded in 1938 by the Van der Horst family from Zaandam, which is also the origin of the name Hoza. The items produced by Hoza in the 1930s were primarily toys and industrial products. After World War II, Hoza was the first company in the Netherlands to switch to the production of wooden pallets. That was the first step toward producing a variety of wooden load carriers. How remarkable it is that 65 years later, you have become part of the Rotom Group, one of the largest pallet suppliers in Europe.

Hoza also has the capability to assist in managing peaks in the logistics chain for customers with its rental service for load carriers. This is possible because it has access to a very large fleet of metal load carriers that customers can rent for a predetermined period.

Hoza is a leading international company in the development and production of customized roll containers, innovative standard roll containers, and various other metal load carriers. In 2022, Hoza further expanded its business activities with the acquisition of Eurobok B.V., a specialist in load carriers for glass and window transport.
