From Idea to Prototype
Modern design programs, 3D printer, developing a prototype as sustainably as possible
Account managers at Hoza map out the requirements. They discuss this with our product specialists if they don't have the solution for you immediately. With modern design programs and 3D printers, Hoza develops a prototype as sustainably as possible. The prototype is discussed with the customer to map out additional requirements or necessary changes. To explain this interaction further, Alwin Koopsen, engineering manager at Hoza, shares more about how he translates customer demands into drawings and suitable prototypes:

When account managers at Hoza are in discussion with customers about potential collaborations, they formulate a package of requirements (PvE). This PvE is immediately discussed with the engineers to determine if we have previously created something similar. If this is not the case and no standard products fit, the engineers will directly turn it into initial concepts and drawings. These drawings form the basis for the creation of one or more prototypes. If the customer is satisfied, we move directly to production at our advanced production facility in Scheemda.
Advantages of Customer-Specific Products
The strength of developing customer-specific products often lies in simplicity, but in practice, it is often the seemingly simple products that require the most (further) development.
It is a great advantage that we have our own production facility at Hoza, where we can easily and efficiently further develop something. The importance of prototypes
Designing prototypes provides the opportunity to discover any shortcomings, such as difficult-to-produce or assemble parts. Additionally, it gives customers and their internal teams a better understanding of the future product and the chance to test it within their logistics process. In short, prototypes result in well-functioning end products.
